Chery is preparing to expand its UK line-up with four new or updated models over the next 12 months, including the Chinese manufacturer’s first fully electric car for the UK market.
The announcement comes as Chery marks its first year on sale in Britain, with the company reporting more than 29,000 registrations since launching in the UK in August 2025.
The latest plans underline Chery’s intention to establish itself as a significant player in the UK new-car market, with the manufacturer also preparing upgrades to its existing Super Hybrid technology.
Chery currently sells the Tiggo 4, Tiggo 7, Chery Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 in the UK, with a mixture of petrol, full hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains available across the range.
Chery To Launch First Electric Car In The UK
The most significant announcement is confirmation that one of the four new or updated models arriving during the next 12 months will be Chery’s first fully electric vehicle in the UK.
The company has not yet revealed which model will introduce its electric powertrain to British buyers, with further details expected as the launch programme progresses.
