Maxus is a contemporary name for LDV. The LDV is a former British commercial van brand that was acquired by Chinese manufacturing giant SAIC in 2009. Initially, SAIC Motor retained the LDV name and revived the previous Maxus model that LDV had been selling before facing financial difficulties. However, SAIC has now introduced an entirely new van design. Moreover, the manufacturer used this opportune time for a rebranding to the name Maxus. The Deliver 9 large van is the first model to wear a Maxus badge in the UK.
The delivery times for Maxus tippers may vary depending on the availability of the required chassis cab in our stock. If we have the chassis cab in stock, we can complete the conversion of the vehicle within 2-4 weeks. However, if we need to place a factory order for a chassis, the delivery time might extend to approximately 12 weeks, in addition to the conversion time. For more detailed information on lead times, we recommend reaching out to our account managers who will be able to help with your enquiry.

The towing capacity remains consistent across all variants of the Deliver 9. They are all capable of towing a braked trailer weighing up to 2,800kg and an unbraked trailer weighing up to 750kg.
Road tax is included in all of our van Contract Hire deals. However, when you opt for a Finance Lease, road tax will be included for the first 12 months only.
When opting for a lease agreement, the VAT is not paid upfront. Instead, it is included in each payment as per the agreed terms. On the other hand, with a purchase agreement, it is common to be expected to pay the full VAT amount upfront at the start of the agreement.
