Alfa Romeo has introduced a new Luna Rossa special series across four of its UK models, bringing sailing-inspired styling, exclusive interior materials and a range of technology-focused upgrades to the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio.
The new Edizione Luna Rossa has been created through Alfa Romeo’s ongoing partnership with the Luna Rossa America’s Cup sailing team. The Edizione Luna Rossa is a new special series developed around Alfa Romeo’s partnership with Luna Rossa, the Italian America’s Cup sailing team.

The interior treatment also varies between models, with 3D Knit upholstery used on the Junior and Tonale, while the Giulia and Stelvio receive a more performance-oriented combination of leather, recycled ECONYL material and carbon-fibre detailing.

Alfa Romeo’s relationship with Luna Rossa began in 2025 and has developed into a technical collaboration between the two organisations.

The Alfa Romeo Junior Edizione Luna Rossa brings the special-series treatment to the manufacturer’s smallest model.
Available with both hybrid and electric powertrains, the Junior receives a new grey exterior finish inspired by the colours used for personal flotation devices, alongside Luna Rossa graphics and Gloss Black exterior details.
The car also features 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, a red Alfa Romeo badge and sailing-inspired graphics.
Inside, the Junior uses 3D Knit upholstery with contrasting grey and red details, creating a more distinctive cabin than the standard model.
The hybrid version uses a 145hp 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with an electric motor and six-speed eDCT automatic transmission.
The electric Junior produces 156hp, using a 54kWh battery and offering a claimed WLTP range of up to 255 miles.

Alfa Romeo Tonale Edizione Luna Rossa
The Alfa Romeo Tonale Edizione Luna Rossa receives a similar visual treatment but with equipment tailored to the larger SUV.
The Tonale features 20-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, Luna Rossa graphics and 3D Knit upholstery, while the cabin also gains sailing-inspired ambient lighting.
Two electrified powertrains are available.
The hybrid version produces 175hp from a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine combined with an electric motor and seven-speed TCT automatic transmission.
The more powerful Tonale Plug-in Hybrid Q4 develops a combined 270hp from a 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and electric motor. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, while offering a claimed electric-only WLTP range of up to 38 miles.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Edizione Luna Rossa takes a more performance-focused approach to the special series.
The saloon receives carbon-fibre detailing including the Luna Rossa badge, mirror caps, side skirts and rear spoiler. The latter elements are derived from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, helping give the special edition a more aggressive appearance.
Other exterior features include 19-inch dark alloy wheels and red brake callipers, while buyers can choose from white, black and Etna Red exterior finishes.
