The new all-electric Škoda Peaq has demonstrated the potential of electric SUV technology by completing a 581.6-mile (936km) journey on a single charge.
The seven-seat electric SUV travelled from Škoda’s headquarters in Mladá Boleslav in the Czech Republic to Zandvoort in the Netherlands, without stopping to recharge.
The impressive journey was completed under the supervision of independent certification organisation TÜV SÜD, with the Peaq achieving an average energy consumption figure of just 9.2kWh per 100km.

The Škoda Peaq is already available to order in the UK, with the Peaq 90 listed from £51,980 on the road. EV Database lists the model as available to order from August 2026, while UK deliveries are expected to begin in early 2027.

The record attempt began at midday on Tuesday 25 August, when the production Peaq left Škoda’s headquarters in Mladá Boleslav.
The route took the drivers across Germany before continuing into the Netherlands, with the team arriving in the country early the following morning.
Drivers took turns behind the wheel, with scheduled breaks allowing them to rest and eat before continuing the journey. The record-breaking run was eventually completed in the Dutch seaside resort of Zandvoort later that afternoon.
The total distance covered without recharging was 936km (581.6 miles).
The impressive range is particularly relevant as EV charging remains an important consideration for drivers making longer journeys.
That is particularly notable when compared with the Peaq 90’s official UK range of up to 395 miles.
