Genesis has unveiled its new GV90 flagship SUV, taking the Korean luxury brand into one of the most exclusive areas of the electric vehicle market.
At almost 5.3 metres long, the fully electric GV90 is the largest, most powerful and most luxurious Genesis yet, adding another high-end model to the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market. It combines a huge 123.5kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive and an estimated range of around 310 miles with an interior designed to feel more like a luxury lounge than a conventional SUV.
The range-topping GV90 Neolun takes the concept even further, introducing coach-style doors, 180-degree swivelling seats, VIP seating and an interior designed more like a private lounge than a conventional SUV.
Inspired by the Neolun concept first shown by Genesis in 2024, the range-topping version takes the idea of a luxury SUV considerably further. The GV90 introduces Genesis’ latest digital platform, Pleos Connect.
Based on Android Automotive OS, the system is designed to provide a more smartphone-like experience, with compatible third-party applications, over-the-air updates and a connected infotainment environment.
Genesis is also introducing Gleo AI, a generative artificial intelligence assistant designed to allow occupants to interact with vehicle functions and search for information using more natural conversational commands.
Rather than requiring drivers to navigate through multiple menus to change settings, the idea is that the vehicle can understand more natural requests.
