The Peugeot Boxer is the biggest panel van available from our Peugeot van leasing offer and the biggest from the Peugeot commercial vehicle family. It's been around for a while, but the regular updates have kept it competitive in the class and the most recent update in 2019 adding Euro 6 engines means it remains a worthy vehicle in the large panel van sector. The Peugeot Boxer remains right at the top of the class when it comes to payload and fuel economy making it one of our most popular large van lease deals.

Peugeot boxer engines
From July 2019, the Peugeot Boxer 2.0 BlueHDi engine is no longer available and was replaced with a new 2.2 BlueHDi engine in 120 and 140 guises. These have 118bhp and 138bhp respectively and come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.
This offers more power across the Boxer van range (and more torque of course). Boxer van engines come with stop-start as standard and comply with the Euro 6D Temp (or EUro 6.2) emissions regulations as well.
At the 2019 CV Show Peugeot unveiled Peugeot Boxer electric, which is set to be called the Peugeot e-Boxer. The Peugeot Boxer EV deals will be on offer soon.
Peugeot boxer cabin
The Peugeot Boxer offers a car-like driving environment and is spacious for all three passengers. The gear lever is very close to the steering wheel leaving the middle seat passenger loads of room for their legs. Driver's seat is adjustable and there is even more comfort with the one-touch electric windows and a CD/radio system.
All 2016 Euro 6 variants also include DAB digital radio as standard. If you want the satellite-navigation and air-conditioning in the cab, our Peugeot Boxer Professional leasing deals offer that for the basic asking price.
Peugeot boxer and its rivals
The closest rivals of the Peugeot Boxer are the Citroen Relay and Vauxhall Movano, but also the younger models like Ford Transit, latest Volkswagen Crafter or tech-heavy Mercedes Sprinter, however, even compared to those newer competitors, the Peugeot Boxer can still impress if you look at the pricing, specs and practicality.
Other contenders include the Renault Master, Nissan NV400 and Fiat Ducato.
