Mercedes-Benz has significantly updated its flagship S-Class Saloon, bringing a sharper design, more advanced technology, greater comfort and a choice of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains to its luxury four-door model.
The latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class represents one of the most comprehensive updates to the current generation, with the manufacturer stating that more than 50% of the vehicle – around 2,700 components – have been newly developed, updated or refined.
Rather than completely reinventing its flagship saloon, Mercedes-Benz has concentrated on improving the areas that have traditionally made the S-Class successful while introducing substantially more technology, artificial intelligence and electrification.

The most obvious changes can be found at the front of the new S-Class.
Mercedes-Benz has increased the size of the radiator grille by around 20%, while the revised design incorporates three-dimensional chrome Mercedes stars.
An illuminated grille surround is available, while customers can also specify an illuminated Mercedes-Benz star on the bonnet.
The latest DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps feature a new twin-star signature, while the rear lights have been redesigned with three chrome-framed star signatures.
Mercedes-Benz has also introduced new wheel designs, including a 20-inch multi-spoke option produced using high-pressure casting technology.

More than 150 exterior paint colours and over 400 interior colour combinations are available through the MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure programme.
