Suzuki has reduced the starting price of its all-electric e Vitara, with the compact SUV now available from £24,999 in the UK.
The new price makes the e Vitara one of the more affordable electric SUVs on the UK market, with Suzuki introducing a simpler pricing structure for its first mass-produced electric car.
The revised pricing came into effect on 1 October 2026 and replaces the manufacturer’s previous £3,750 “Suzuki Granted” customer saving. Rather than relying on a temporary discount to bring the car’s price down, the £24,999 figure is now the advertised starting price for the range.

Suzuki e Vitara Electric SUV
The e Vitara was introduced as Suzuki’s first mass-produced electric vehicle and is built on a dedicated platform developed through Suzuki’s partnership with Toyota and Daihatsu. As a fully electric vehicle, it is classed as a BEV (battery electric vehicle). Our guide to BEV, PHEV, HEV and ICE explains how battery electric vehicles compare with plug-in hybrids, hybrids and conventional internal combustion engine vehicles.
It sits in the increasingly competitive compact electric SUV market, where buyers can also consider models such as the Kia EV3 and Skoda Elroq.
The e Vitara joins a growing choice of electric cars available to UK drivers. Our guide to the Top 10 Electric Cars to Lease in 2026 looks at a selection of models available to private drivers, company car users and salary sacrifice customers.
Suzuki has given the e Vitara a distinctive SUV appearance, with a relatively upright body, protective black exterior trim and chunky styling intended to give it a more rugged look than some of its electric rivals.
Inside, the cabin takes a more contemporary approach, with a digital instrument display and central infotainment screen forming the main focus of the dashboard.
Two Battery Options
The e Vitara is available with a choice of 49kWh and 61kWh batteries, with front-wheel drive available across the range.
The 49kWh version has an official range of up to around 214 miles, while the larger 61kWh battery increases the maximum range to approximately 264 miles, depending on specification.
The 61kWh battery can also be paired with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP-e four-wheel-drive system, providing an additional option for buyers who need increased traction.
The ALLGRIP-e system uses an electric motor on each axle, giving the e Vitara all-wheel drive without the need for a conventional mechanical connection between the front and rear axles.
