With an electric Mercedes Vito now available as well, the Vito is a leading van in the medium van sector. new MERCEDES VITO design
The latest generation of the Vito vans has been with us since 2015 and the most recent update was in 2019 for the 2020 model. Visually not too much changed, apart from a new radiator grille and some changes inside of the cab. Major changes have been applied to the engines and in fact, the Vito vans received a completely new set of engines. Loads of new technology have been also added. You'll get twin sliding side doors as standard and if you want 180-degree twin doors or a hatched rear opening, you can optionally add this to your Vito lease deal.
Mercedes Vito Specifications, Dimensions & Payload
We know how important it is to lease a van with the right operating weight so that it suits your business needs, which is why our Mercedes Vito deals have a range of Vito vans from 2.5 to 3.05 tonnes for the Vito FWD version and up to 3.2 tonnes for the Vito RWD.
Mercedes Vito is available in three lengths, Vito L1, Vito L2 and Vito L3, and single roof height.
If the panel van is what you're after, we recommend our Mercedes Vito van deals. The Vito panel van can carry loads of 2586mm, 2831mm, or 3061mm on L1, L2, and L3 models respectively. The Vito's payload capacity varies between front- and rear-wheel-drive models. The short wheelbase has a maximum payload weight of 818k and a cargo volume of 5.3m3. The medium wheelbase Vito can transport payloads with a maximum of weight 791kg, while the cargo volume is 6.0m3. The Vito long wheelbase has a maximum payload capacity of 756kg and the maximum load volume of 6.6m3.
If you are looking for a van with plenty of space for the passengers and cargo, we recommend the Mercedes Vito Crew Van lease. The Vito Crew van can transport up to 6 passengers and has generous load space, too. It can transport loads with a maximum weight of 1002kg and a volume of 3.1m3 on the L1 model, 796kg, and a volume of 3.6m3 on the L2 model, and 925kg and the volume of 4.1m3 on the L3 model.
Our Mercedes Vito Tourer deals are for those looking for people carrier leasing. It allows you to transport up to nine passengers. Mercedes Vito Tourer offers its passengers an outstanding comfort, and it's reliable and efficient as well.
Mercedes Vito comes in various trim levels. The Vito panel van and the Crew Van both come in Progressive and Plus Package trims. On top of that, the Vito van offers an upgraded package called 'Premium', and the Crew Van also has a premium package - called Vito Sport. Mercedes Vito Tourer comes in three trim lines: Pro, Select, and Sport.
Arctic white is the standard paint on the Vito Progressive trim of the Vito van and Vito Crew van, and the Vito Tourer Pro and Tourer Select trim.
what engines are on offer?
- All Vito engines are Euro 6d compliant, with the front- and rear-wheel drive options.
Front-wheel drive versions come with a 1.6-litre diesel engine and 88hp and 114hp power outputs, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. These are the most economic Vito engines.
Rear-wheel drive Vitos have 2.01-litre diesel engines available in three outputs: 136hp, 163hp and 190hp. These engines are stronger and, if you want our personal opinion, much better to drive.
- Check our Mercedes eVito leasing deals if you're interested in electric Vito van. Vito EV is only available with an automatic gearbox.
interior of the Vito van
Inside the cabin of the Mercedes Vito feels and looks just like the Mercedes passenger car, however, Mercedes has put some extra durability and practicality touches to this working vehicle, and the result is a toughened version of user-friendly Mercedes switches.
There are two cup holders and three open storage areas below the windscreen, a small tray next to the gear lever ideal for small items, like phone or keys, and door pockets.
The seats are comfortable and supportive but if you want something super extra comfy, there's a highly adjustable Comfort Seat option that can be added to your Vito deal.
Mercedes Vito - rivals and alternatives
