Suzuki e Vitara Price Cut Takes Electric SUV Below £25,000

Suzuki has reduced the starting price of its all-electric e Vitara, with the compact SUV now available from £24,999 in the UK.

The new price makes the e Vitara one of the more affordable electric SUVs on the UK market, with Suzuki introducing a simpler pricing structure for its first mass-produced electric car.

The revised pricing came into effect on 1 October 2026 and replaces the manufacturer’s previous £3,750 “Suzuki Granted” customer saving. Rather than relying on a temporary discount to bring the car’s price down, the £24,999 figure is now the advertised starting price for the range.

Suzuki e Vitara Electric SUV

The e Vitara was introduced as Suzuki’s first mass-produced electric vehicle and is built on a dedicated platform developed through Suzuki’s partnership with Toyota and Daihatsu. As a fully electric vehicle, it is classed as a BEV (battery electric vehicle). Our guide to BEV, PHEV, HEV and ICE explains how battery electric vehicles compare with plug-in hybrids, hybrids and conventional internal combustion engine vehicles.

It sits in the increasingly competitive compact electric SUV market, where buyers can also consider models such as the Kia EV3 and Skoda Elroq.

The e Vitara joins a growing choice of electric cars available to UK drivers. Our guide to the Top 10 Electric Cars to Lease in 2026 looks at a selection of models available to private drivers, company car users and salary sacrifice customers.

Suzuki has given the e Vitara a distinctive SUV appearance, with a relatively upright body, protective black exterior trim and chunky styling intended to give it a more rugged look than some of its electric rivals.

Inside, the cabin takes a more contemporary approach, with a digital instrument display and central infotainment screen forming the main focus of the dashboard.

Two Battery Options

The e Vitara is available with a choice of 49kWh and 61kWh batteries, with front-wheel drive available across the range.

The 49kWh version has an official range of up to around 214 miles, while the larger 61kWh battery increases the maximum range to approximately 264 miles, depending on specification.

The 61kWh battery can also be paired with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP-e four-wheel-drive system, providing an additional option for buyers who need increased traction.

The ALLGRIP-e system uses an electric motor on each axle, giving the e Vitara all-wheel drive without the need for a conventional mechanical connection between the front and rear axles.

Suzuki e Vitara Prices

The revised UK range is priced as follows:

  • 49kWh Motion 2WD – £24,999
  • 61kWh Motion 2WD – £27,999
  • 61kWh Motion ALLGRIP-e 4WD – £29,999
  • 61kWh Ultra 2WD – £30,799
  • 61kWh Ultra ALLGRIP-e 4WD – £32,799

The entry-level Motion specification includes equipment such as 18-inch alloy wheels, an integrated display system, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear-seat slide and recline functionality and interior ambient lighting.

The higher-specification Ultra adds features including 19-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, glass roof, premium Infinity audio system and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.

Electric SUV Pricing Becomes More Competitive

The latest price change comes as manufacturers continue to adjust their electric vehicle pricing in an increasingly competitive UK market.

For Suzuki, reducing the e Vitara’s advertised price to £24,999 also simplifies the way the car is presented to customers. The previous pricing structure relied on the £3,750 Suzuki Granted saving, whereas the new figure is built directly into the vehicle’s advertised on-the-road price.

Suzuki is also currently offering 0% APR finance on the e Vitara, subject to the manufacturer’s finance terms and eligibility requirements.

With a starting price below £25,000, two battery choices and the availability of four-wheel drive, the e Vitara gives Suzuki a stronger presence in the growing compact electric SUV market.

For businesses considering an electric car for company use, the e Vitara provides another option to consider as part of a wider fleet management strategy. With more electric cars now available through business car leasing, companies have greater choice when reviewing vehicle suitability, running costs and the transition to lower-emission fleets. For company-car drivers, the e Vitara could also be worth considering from a tax perspective, with electric cars continuing to benefit from lower Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax rates than many petrol and diesel alternatives.
