In the UK, there are two trims - Progressive and Premium. Even the base Merc Citan van is well-equipped with useful features. Here's what you get depending on the trim you choose.

From the Citan Tourer model with its least capable payload rating of 320kg to the most robust panel van variant boasting a rating of 752kg, the Citan offers a diverse range of payload options. Additionally, there is the option to upgrade the payload capacity to meet your specific requirements.
It is worth mentioning that Mercedes includes the weight of the driver in the kerb weight. Consequently, you need to add 75kg to the official payload ratings in order to compare them with the figures provided by the rest of the automotive industry. Taking this into account, the Mercedes Citan's maximum payload increases to 827kg. This adjustment ensures a fair comparison and provides a more accurate representation of Citan's payload capabilities.
The new Mercedes Citan offers a fully electric model, the e Citan. The Mercedes Citan electric is powered by a 45 kWh battery and has a maximum driving range of 175 miles.
The Mercedes Citan diesel models have the same 1.5-litre turbo engine, and come with the following power outputs:
- Citan 108 CDI:Â 75hp at 3,750rpm / 230Nm at 1,750rpm
- Citan 110 CDI:Â 95hp at 3,750rpm / 260Nm at 1,750rpm
- Citan 112 CDI:Â 116hp at 3,750rpm / 270Nm at 1,750rpm
However, as of March 2024, only the mid-level diesel is offered in the UK.
Our Mercedes Citan lease deals start from £250 plus VAT per month (as of March 2024 - subject to change at any time). However, your monthly payments (rentals) on the Citan van will depend on your deal terms, such as how many miles per year you drive, your contract length and the amount of the initial rental (deposit). You will never pay anything extra throughou your lease, however, your funder may charge you excess mileage and damage charges (as stated in your agreement) may apply at the end of your agreement.
You will also be able to reclaim the VAT paid in full if you're a VAT-registered ltd company.
