The latest generation of the Mercedes Sprinter vans hit the UK in 2018 and since then the Sprinter has been just like wine, getting better and better with age. This large Mercedes van offers the highest technology and versatility that we have come across in a van. The Sprinter vans are at the more expensive side but in return, they offer premium quality, reliability and high safety features, as you would expect from the Mercedes badge. On top of that, they hold their value really well hence the Mercedes Sprinter lease proves cheaper than you'd probably expect. Check our latest Sprinter offers and find out yourself!

the MERCEDES sprinter design
The Mercedes vans don't look far from their car range in therm of style, which is mostly visible in the front end featuring characteristic slim headlights. The Sprinter van offers a mix of luxury car comfort and technology with the proper heavy-duty trimmings needed in a working vehicle. The Sprinter van comes with double rear doors and a sliding side door as standard on all models with the optional power-assisted version on all panel vans, and also optional second sliding door.
the Mercedes sprinter Specifications, Dimensions & Payload
The Mercedes offers a generous choice in the Sprinter van range enabling us to offer you a variety of Sprinter van lease deals. You can choose between short-, medium- and long-wheelbase models, which come in four body lengths and three roof heights. On top of that, you can now also lease the Sprinter van as a front-, rear- and four-wheel drive.
The maximum GVW is 5.5-tonnes offering up to 17m3 load space and a payload of up to 3,175kg, while the payload for the FWD 3.5-tonne Sprinter van is more than 1,200kg.
The load length that can be carried by the Sprinter starts from 2,607mm in the Sprinter L1 and goes up to 4,707mm in the Sprinter L4 model. The load high for the Sprinter H1 is 1,798mm and 2,209m for the H3 Sprinter van.
Our Mercedes Sprinter leasing deals consist of the conventional panel van, which is our most popular deal but you can also lease the Mercedes Sprinter Dropside and the Sprinter Chassis Cab available for specialist conversions.
What is unusual about the Sprinter is that it doesn't offer the choice of trims but you can add various option packs instead. We highly recommend adding Comfort Pack and Driver's Pack to your leasing deal simply because they come with additional seat adjustment, parking sensors and air conditioning. The other packs include Premium Pack, Active Safety Pack, Lane Tracking Pack and Comfort Pack Plus.
The engines of the Mercedes sprinter
Under the bonnet of the Mercedes Sprinter van, you'll find a four-cylinder 2.1-litre diesel engine with 111bhp, 143bhp and 163bhp outputs or a 3.0-litre diesel V6 engine producing 187bhp.
The standard gearbox is the manual six-speed available in all Sprinter vans. If you're looking for the automatic Mercedes Sprinter deal, we have this option available on Sprinter FWD with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and on the Sprinter RWD and V6-engined Sprinters, there is an option for a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
There is also a promise of an all-electric e-Sprinter, which should be available to lease this year but we wouldn't expect it to happen on time since the e-Vito range was delayed as well.
inside the cabin of the sprinter van
The cabin of the Sprinter van is all about the person who is using it - the driver. You could easily pretend that you're driving a car - it's that good! A lot of thought has been given to the storage and functionality of the cabin as well. The interior feels high quality but you wouldn't expect anything less from Mercedes anyway.
The dashboard is sleek and rounded, featuring a standard built-in 7" touchscreen in the centre, which you can replace with a 10.25inch touchscreen if you choose to. All Sprinter vans come with a keyless start, which is a very handy feature.
The seats are very comfortable and supportive and also very easy to get in and out, which is great news if you're a courier doing lots of deliveries.
The most exciting feature is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), which offers not only a touchscreen display mentioned above, DAB radio and Bluetooth as standard but also real speech voice control, similar to Siri or Google Assistant you find in mobile phones.
the Mercedes sprinter and its competitors
The closest rivals of the Mercedes Sprinter are Ford Transit and Volkswagen Crafter. The other competitors include the Peugeot Boxer, Vauxhall Movano and Citroen Relay trio.
