Renault has updated its Trafic van range with a black edition
The new Black Edition adds unique styling touches and extra equipment as standard.
Exclusive Renault Trafic Black Edition styling
The Black Edition Trafic has added 17" 'cyclade' black alloy wheels, ‘Black Edition’ badging and graphics, a piano black grille surround and a piano black styling blade low down on the front end. Body-coloured side mouldings are also included, with customers able to choose from Urban Grey, Mercury, Glacier White and Jet Black body colours.
There’s also an optional body kit with a lower front bumper, side skirts and roof spoiler to give it a sportier appearance.
Extra equipment included in the Trafic Black Edition
Extra standard kit over the regular Trafic includes a rear parking camera and rear parking sensors to assist with getting the van into spaces. Climate control, which complements improved standard kit levels introduced for a 2019 facelift, has also been included.
The Black Edition benefits from the updates introduced to the rest of the Trafic range last year, such as full LED headlights and a redesigned front grille on the outside, and a more car-like dashboard with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto inside.
Renault Trafic Engine
There is a choice of two 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engines, one with 143bhp and another with 168bhp. The former returns 52.3mpg and emits 188g/km CO2, while the latter offers 51.4mpg and 187g/km. Both can be had with either a manual or automatic gearbox.
Renault Trafic Black Edition Prices
Prices for the Trafic Black Edition start from £27,950 (pre-VAT), with order books opening in April. Both panel and crew van body styles will be available.
