Which commercial van has the right size for your business needs?
If your business vehicle isn't the right size, you could be losing time and money. Why pay the wrong price to lease a van that's too big or small? Please take a minute to view our van size guide to make sure you choose the right vehicle.
We show you the width, length, and height of each van's compartment so that you can visualise the space for yourself and work out what can go in it. Also included in the guide is the load weight (payload).
Although these dimensions are the market average, they can point you in the right direction, helping you find the perfect vehicle for your business needs.

What is a micro van?
Microvan is quite literally a car with the rear side windows blanked off and the back seats replaced by a flat load area that's separated from the front seats by a bulkhead. This means, of course, that a micro-van not only looks like a car but also essentially drives like one. Its small load area and limited practicality is undoubtedly something to take into consideration. However, it's more practical than a regular car of this size. It is still a safer, more practical way to carry goods or equipment than an ordinary small car with folded rear seats.
Suppose your business only requires modest carrying capacity but you still want the advantages of a dedicated commercial vehicle. If that is the case, microvan leasing might be the right choice. Microvans usually include fixed-rate taxation and a functional load area, plus the added safety of a bulkhead.
Fiesta Van is one of the popular microvan choices.

What is a minimus/crew cab van?
The best way to transport crew or passengers is to use a converted small, medium or large van. These models are converted for maximum comfort and style.
The minibus van version is the perfect choice if you need to carry a larger team of workers or passengers but don't need the large loading area. Small, medium, pickup or large vans can all be converted to fit additional seats. We see many customers opt for a Minibus or Crew Van contract hire version of their favoured commercial van. Essentially, a crew van is a combination of a Passenger and Cargo Van -it has up to six seats, rather than the usual three of a standard van. These extra seats eat into the van's load area, but most crew vans' load areas are still big enough to be practical for multi-purpose use.
What do you do if you regularly carry a team of workers around with all their equipment? Or do you need the practicality of a van but want it to double up as a family vehicle at the weekend? Crew van leasing might be the best choice for your needs.
The most popular vehicles in this category are Volkswagen Transporter Kombi, Mercedes Vito Crew, Fiat Doblo Crew, Fiat Ducato Window, Ducato Crew, and Ford Transit Minibus.
